Memorial Scholarship
The Dr. Harold Kurtz Memorial Scholarship is for students who have participated in the NJ Odyssey of the Mind program. To be eligible for this scholarship you must have participated in the NJ Odyssey of the Mind program for at least one year, be a high school senior during the current school year with plans to attend a college, university or vocational school OR be a full-time student currently enrolled at a college, university or vocational school and not be a previous NJ OotM scholarship recipient.
Along with this application form, you must submit a letter of recommendation and a current transcript (unofficial is acceptable). You may choose to record a video response (max eight minutes) to Questions 2 and 3. If you do, please submit a link to the video (YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive, etc.) at the same time as the required portion of the application. Please be sure to include a password if needed.
Application materials must be sent to scholarship@njootm.org. Please submit the items as PDFs and be sure that your letter of recommendation is signed by the writer. Applications, including letters of recommendation and transcripts, must be received by Saturday, March 16, 2024, to be considered. Scholarship winners will be announced at the State Finals on Saturday, April 13, 2024.
